Creative Campus 2018 is located in the Pearse Museum, St. Enda’s Park, Rathfarnham. Drawing on the location and its history, the project is investigating contemporary perceptions and interpretations of who or indeed what a hero is. This three month project is heavily focused on the participation of second level students in conjunction with the artist curators to produce a collaborative body of work. The passive and proactive roles of the group is engaged with while investigating the subject through a variety of art forms such as creating installations with sculpture, digital video and live art actions.

Creative Campus ’18 is curated by Terence Erraught, supported by artist curators Emma Brennan and Siuan Ni Dhochartaigh. Creative Campus ’18 participating schools are Mount Seskin Community College and Colaiste de Híde. Our artist curators have collaborated with the featured students to create a visual arts exhibition that highlights the importance of collaboration and discussion where a member of any social group makes a decision to take a passive or proactive role in.
